DIY Halloween Paper Bat

It's October and it's time to create some simple but fun decor for your home/office to celebrate one of the coolest festival - Halloween! These simple paper bat craft is perfect to create with your toddlers and older children too.



What you need:


  • A glue gun

  • Black cardstock

  • Red cardstock

  • White cardstock

  • scissors

  • googly eyes


Step 1: Fold your black cardstock in accordion style. This is not only great for working fine motor skills but the accordion fold gives the paper bat craft awesome texture.


Step 2: When you are finished folding. Use double tape to tape at the back. And then tape them in half.



Step 3: Use the black cardstock to prepare a round circle, a set of triangle bat ears.

And using the red cardstock to prepare two smaller triangle bat ears and a bow tie.


Step 4: Tape your bat ears onto your paper bat. Glue your googly eyes onto your bat.


Step 5: Finish your paper bat craft and have fun decorating your space. :)
